Vizibl Named Gartner Cool

Vizibl, the leading SaaS platform for Supplier Collaboration, announced today that it has been included in the list of Cool Vendors in Sourcing Technology, by Gartner.

Gartner’s Cool Vendor research is designed to highlight interesting, new and innovative vendors, products and services. According to the report, “There are a large number of vendors with highly fragmented offerings and different applications for managing suppliers, this makes it hard for organisations to create an impactful shortlist, especially for emerging technology solutions. Chief Procurement Officers can use this Cool Vendors research to improve their group’s capabilities to drive better collaboration and business decisions.”

As stated in the report, “Supplier management initiatives are often broad, and many organisations have no clear definition of what they want to achieve with a technology solution. This is partially caused by the lack of verification of solution claims and carefulness of not considering emerging technologies earlier in the process.”

Promising cool supplier management vendors, covered in the report, “offer solutions that augment an organisation’s ability to preserve and extract added value from new and existing supplier relationships,” according to Gartner. Gartner “looked for solutions and vendors that could fill specific use cases in a company’s digital roadmap. The cool vendors [in the report] target the need for better and more collaborative supplier management with faster and better decision making across increasingly complex and ever-expanding supply chain networks and supplier ecosystems.”
